An American actor of Spanish descent, born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on April 26, 1935, and died on June 10, 2013 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He studied law at Loyola University, and served in the US Navy after the end of World War II. He always played the roles of foreigners, whether European or Asian, in Western, horror, and crime films. Among his most notable work: Touch of Evil (1956), Hatari (1962), Hellfighters (1968), and To Live and Die in L.A. (1985).
