American actress who was born in Parrott, Georgia, USA on November 10, 1934 as Dorothy Cook. She married four men: Willis Moore, actor Don Oreck (1956-1957), actor and producer Ryan O'Neal (1963-1967), with whom she had two children, and then Gary L. Reeves (1975-1977). Among her most important works are Touch of Evil (1958), Monster on the Campus (1958), and Follow That Dream (1962). She lost her family when she was young in a car accident as she was the only one who did not ride with them. She went to Hollywood after winning a beauty contest in Georgia, and she was discovered by a Universal producer at a cocktail party. She lost custody of her children due to her drug and alcohol addiction. She lost three fingers of her left hand in a car accident. She died on November 22, 1997 in Indian Wells, California, USA of lung cancer.
