An American actress, born on September 9, 1965, in Anchorage, Alaska, USA. Her mother was a nurse and her father owned a furniture store. At the age of four, Johnson and her mother moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where she attended Alhambra High School. When she was 16, Johnson began doing fashion print work and was soon signed by the Wilhelmina agency in New York City. She was cast by director Stanley Donen to co-star in his film Blame It on Rio. She is known for Death Becomes Her (1992), Waxwork (1998) and Far and Away (1992).
