A Syrian writer, born in Hama in 1932. He continued his studies in Hama, where he obtained his secondary school certificate in 1951. He joined the Syrian University (currently Damascus University), where he obtained a BA from the Faculty of Arts (Department of Arabic Language) and a diploma in Education in 1956. He is famous for writing a series Children of Tomorrow, and the program Open Your Doors, My Country. He passed away on August 25, 2001.
