A Turkish director and actress, born on April 1, 1958, in Ankara, Turkey. She settled in England for 16 years, then returned to Turkey. She married producer and writer Eris Akman and is the daughter of director and producer Tunca Yönder. As an actress, she participated in Merakli Köfteci (1976) and Gel Barisalim (1976). She made her directorial debut in The White Bicycle (1986). She also directed Ask Uykusu (2017) as well as six episodes of the series Evli ve Öfkeli (2015).
