Benjamin Alexander Sheinkman is an American actor, born on September 26, 1968, in New York, USA. His brother-in-law is the British publisher Jamie Byng. He studied at Brown University, where he earned a B.A. in philosophy in 1990. He also got a Master of Fine Arts from the Graduate Acting Program at New York University Tisch School of the Arts in 1993. He is known for The Trial of the Chicago 7 (2020), Pi (1998), and Blue Valentine (2010). He is married to Lauren Greilsheimer.
