A Cuban director, newspaper editor, and graphic designer, born in Matanzas, Cuba. Padrón graduated from the University of Havana, Cuba, where he studied journalism. He received a Diploma of Artistic Merit from the Higher Institute of Art, Cuba. In addition to his collaboration with the Animation Department of the Cuban Institute of Cinematic Arts, his credits include Curiosos: Músculos de los ojos (2002) and The Princess and the Magic Mirror (2014).
