American actor, born in Los Angeles, California, USA on December 28, 1943. He began his artistic career as an infant in the movie Casanova Brown (1944). He then appeared in the movie The Cockeyed Miracle (1946) at the age of 3. He continued his work in television and cinema since 1952. His most important works include The Kid from Left Field (1953), A Man Called Peter (1955), and The Nigh of the Hunter (1955). He was the brother of actress Lauren Chapin, brother of actor Michael Chapin, and uncle of actress Summer-Healy Chapin.
