An American actress, born in Iowa, United States. She began her artistic activity in 1910. She is known for her roles with Charlie Chaplin. Among her most important works are The Immigrant (1917), starring Charlie Chaplin, Our Hospitality (1923), and The Charlie Chaplin Festival (1941). She died in Los Angeles, California, in the United States.
