A British director and actor, born on March 26, 1934, in West Ham, Essex, England, UK. After starting his career as an actor, Ives turned to directing a number of television works in the 1960s and 1970s. As an actor, he appeared in several works, including the film The Lion in Winter (1968) and the TV miniseries The Last of the Mohicans (1971).
