American actress, born on September 6, 1947 in Wellesley, Massachusetts. She is known for her comedy performances as she obtained Best Lead Actress in a Comedy Series at the Emmy Television Festival for the years 1984 and 1985. She gained fame by participating in Saturday Night Live from 1975 to 1980. She is known for Kate & Allie (1984 - 1987), 3rd Rock from the Sun (1996 -2001), and The Librarian III: The Curse of the Judas Chalice (2008).
