A Mexican director and writer, born in Mexico City. He is well-known for his suspenseful and supernatural horror movies. Among his most famous works are Chucho el Roto (1960), Capture of Chucho el Roto (1961), and El malvado Carabel (1962), based on the novel by Wenceslao Fernández Flórez.
