A Russian actress, born October 1, 1975 in Kazan. Her name means in the Tatar language (Morning Star). She studied business administration at Kazan University for a short period, then moved to study acting at the State Institute of Dramatic Art (GITIS) in Moscow. She starred in a number of German-language films as well as in many feature films and Russian TV series. She is the winner of many awards. The Nika Award for Best Director, which represents the Russian equivalent of the Cesar Award. One of her most important works is the movie Good Bye Lenin!, and Doktor Zhivago is the first work in which she participated in the movie Starye pesni o glavnom 3 in 1998.
