An American director and cinematographer of Mexican descent, born on September 29, 1923, in Los Angeles, California, United States. William studied at the USC School of Cinematic Arts. He was a member of the American Society of Cinematographers. His credits include Bullitt (1968) and War Games (1983). He passed away on May 31, 2010, in Los Angeles.
