An Indian actress born in Coimbatore, India. She is best known for her supporting roles in Tamil and Telugu films and has won many awards during her career, including the Tamil Nadu State Film Awards for Best Comedian for her role in Poovellam Un Vaasam (2001) and Uliyin Osai (2008), and the Nandi Award for Best Comedy Actress for her role in Kanchana: Muni 2 (2015).
