A Kuwaiti musician, born as Issa Khurshid Awad. He began his career in the early sixties when he composed his first song entitled "Marhaba Bi Eleid". In 1962, he was appointed to the Music Department of the Kuwaiti Radio. The late artist Ghazi Al-Attar invited him to sing at the Folklore Center, which was his breakthrough. He presented, during his career, various types of folk singing, such as al-ardah and muwashahat. Throughout his career, which spanned nearly 45 years, he presented dozens of songs such as "Qamryia", "Ajiiba" and "Sarab", in addition to national and sports works, and his contributions to a number of operettas with a number of artists and athletes. He passed away on November 26, 2005.
