She is an American actress, born in 1980 and raised in Chicago. She moved to New York and participated in the New York Theater Workshop. She started her career in 2006. She is known for Ricki and the Flash (2015), A Master Builder (2013), and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2007-2022). She received a Joseph Jefferson nomination for her performance in Adam Rapp's "Red Light Winter." She earned a Drama Desk nomination and a Helen Hayes Award for her role in "Blackbird."
