American actress, born in Des Moines, Iowa, USA. She began her career as a teenager with the film A Day's Pleasure (1919), in addition to the short film The Expert Eloper in the same year. She appeared in more than fifty silent films, including Merely Mary Ann (1920) and The Perfect Flapper (1924). She was famous for participating in the films of the duo Laurel and Hardy. She then devoted her life to designing costumes in cinema, and she died in Los Angeles, California, in the United States.
