A British actress, writer, and producer, born in London, England, to an English father and an Indian mother. She is the sister of the botanist Alastair Robinson. She is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, United States. Her works include The Merchant of Venice (2004) and Homeland (2012).
