An American comedian actress, born in 1938, to a Jewish family, with whom she moved to Cambridge, Maryland, where her parents worked in a women's clothing store. She attended Linden Hall School for Girls in Litiz, Pennsylvania, and then enrolled in Blackstone College for Girls in Virginia. Her most important roles are in: Caesar's Hour (1956), My First Love (1988), and Enemies of Laughter (2000).
