An American actress, born in Oklahoma. She appeared in several television series and films. She also won an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award. She was one of the lead actresses in the series The Golden Girls, which aired during the eighties of the twentieth century, and became famous for her performance in the role of Blanche Devereaux.
