An Egyptian actor and director, born to director Ibrahim Al Shaqanqiry. He appeared as a child in the film The Eye of Life (1970), directed by his father, then he worked with him as an assistant director in the movie The Crazy (1988), as well as the series The Troubles of Love (1989).
