She was an American actress, born on February 21, 1915, in Texax, USA. She was one of the most glamorous, popular woman in Hollywood, and she starred in many comedy film. Her most notable films include Angels with Dirty Faces (1938), I Was a Male War Bride (1949), Kings Row (1942), and Shine on Harvest Moon (1944). Her real name was Clara Lou Sheridan which was changed when she got better in her roles. She received a Golden Apple Award in 1943, as well as a star on the Walk of Fame in 1960. She died on January 21, 1967, in Los Angeles, California, USA, after her battle with cancer.
