An American actress, born in New York City, on May 5, 1915. Alice Faye was awarded a Golden Boot in 1991 and a star on the Walk of Fame in 1960. Alice Faye debuted as a singer in 1930 with the Rudy Vallée band, with whom she headed to Hollywood for her golden opportunity with her participation in the film George White's Scandals (1934). She is best known for her roles in the movies Now I'll Tell (1934), and Fallen Angel (1945).
