A Turkish actor and politician, born in Istanbul. He graduated from the Department of Biology and Environmental Sciences at the University of Trondheim in Norway. He became a lecturer at Marmara University in 1985. He then became a member of parliament for the Motherland Party between 1999 and 2002. His most important works as an actor include Çiglik Çigliga Bir Sevda (2010), Affet sevgilim (1966), Filiz Akin in Karate Girl (1973), and Aman Karim Duymasin (1976).
