New Zealand actress, raised in Christchurch, New Zealand, where she showed an early passion for acting and began her career in amateur theatre. She then moved to London, England, to receive her training in 2001. She returned to New Zealand and worked in local theater before moving north in 2004, graduating from Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School in 2006. She began her film career in Meet Me in Miami (2005). Among her most prominent works are Predicament (2010), Slow West (2015), and A Woman's Right to Shoes (2017).
