A Russian director, producer, and writer, born on March 17, 1913, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. His works include Fatal Symphony (1947), Little Isles of Freedom (1943), and Egypt by Three (1953). He died on December 6, 2009, in New York, USA. Stoloff and Edgar Loew were nominated for an Academy Award in the Best Documentary category for Little Isles of Freedom.
