An English musician, composer, record producer, singer and visual artist, born in Melton, Suffolk. He studied at Ipswich Civic College, after which he studied at the Winchester School of Art. He also gained experience in playing music through tutoring classes held at the nearby music school. Eno joined Roxy Music as its synthesizer player in the early 1970s, but he left following a conflict with lead singer Bryan Ferry. By the end of the 1970s, Eno worked with David Bowie on the creative "Berlin Trilogy". He produced albums for many artists such as Talking Heads, U2 and Coldplay. As a composer, his credits include The Lovely Bones (2009) and Me and Earl and the Dying Girl (2015).
