Spanish actress, born in 1964. She worked in the prime of her life as a singer and dancer, but she became famous after the Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar chose her to co-star in the movie Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown. She also worked with American director Robert Altman in the movie Ready to Wear.
