An American screenwriter and producer, born in Chicago, Illinois, the United States. He graduated from Northern Illinois University. He made his debut in 1972 by participating in two films: The Astronaut and Short Walk to Daylight. His works include Born Innocent (1974), Phenomenon (1996), and Message in a Bottle (1999).
