An Indian actress, known for her works in Telugu and Malayalam films, as well as television series. She also starred in a few Tamil and Kannada productions. She was born as the eldest of three sisters into a musical Telugu Brahmin family that performs Carnatic music. She won prizes in singing and theater competitions during her school days and was trained as a classical singer and dancer. Among her works are Yamaleela (1994) and Vajram (1995).
