Moroccan writer, journalist, and theater director, born in 1943 in Berkane, Morocco. He obtained a BA in Arabic literature from the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences in Fez in 1971 and a diploma in Education and Psychology from the same faculty. He obtained a master's degree from the Université Moulay Ismaïl in Meknes in 2001. He wrote more than thirty plays, all written in classical Arabic. Some of his plays have been translated into French, English and Spanish.
