Lithuanian actor, born in Taurus, Lithuania, on April 15, 1930. He lived in the United Kingdom, received his education in its schools, and worked in British television and British films. He then toured most of the world and finally returned to settle in the United Kingdom. Among his most important works: The Guns of Navarone (1961), The Great Escape (1963), and The Spy Who Came in from the Cold (1965).
