British actor, born in Glasgow, Scotland, on April 18, 1930 as Angus Wilson Lennie. He's known for The Great Escape (1963), 633 Squadron (1964), and Doctor Who (1967-1975). He began his career as a dancer and comedian in nightclubs. He then professionally acted in the Perth City Theater in the late forties, and then devoted himself to television work in England, with some film roles. He passed away on September 14, 2014 in Acton, London.
