A Mexican-American singer, writer, and actress, who began her artistic career at the age of four in the play The Bad Seed. She studied music and singing and began her career as a singer. She entered the world of cinema through her mother’s sister, Yolanda Ortiz. She participated in many works, including Una mujer decente (1950), which marked her debut, Me quiero casar (1967), and Corazón salvaje (1968).
