An English actor, born on September 19, 1954, in Manchester, Lancashire, England, UK. He studied at the University of Bristol. He is an associate member of RADA, where he trained as an actor. He received the Laurence Olivier Theater Award in 1995 (1994 season) for Best Actor for his performance in "My Night with Reg", which is an episode of the TV series Performance. He is known for Valkyrie (2008), Miss Potter (2006),and The Bourne Identity (2002).
