An Egyptian broadcaster, born in 1942 in Cairo. She belongs to a media family, as her older sister is Soheir El Etreby (former TV president), her younger sister is the presenter Azza El Etreby (former TV vice president). Her children are Hossam, and presenter Rasha El Gammal. She participated in the series The Tales of Sinbad the Sailor (1996). She died on January 12, 2007.
