A British actress, born in St. Albans, England. She is the daughter of a civilian pilot and received her education at Francis Bacon School in her hometown of St. Albans. She also studied acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and participated in many artistic productions. She won a British Academy Television Award for Best Actress.
