An American actress, born in New York. Her father was the playwright Russel Crouse. She trained in acting at the HB Studio in Greenwich Village, New York, after earning degrees from Radcliffe College in 1970 and the Chapin School in 1966. Her career began in 1972. She is known for Communion (1989), Mr. Brooks (2007), and The Arrival (1996).
