An American jazz pianist, born on August 17, 1970. Martin won second place in the 1993 Thelonious Monk International Jazz Piano Competition. He was appointed lecturer in jazz studies at the Bienen School of Music at Northwestern University. Also, he has been a member of the music faculty at Tulane University, the University of New Orleans, and the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts. His credits include Hope and Glory (1987), Good Night, and Good Luck. (2005), and Deathcheaters (1976).
