An American actress, born in Richmond, Virginia, United States. She is best known for the series Fresh Off the Boat. She was raised in Richmond, Virginia in a Taiwanese family. She graduated from Douglas S. Freeman High School and acted in local theater as a teen. She graduated from State University of New York at Purchase's Conservatory of Theatre Arts in 2005. She started her career in 2006 and is known for Sound of My Voice (2011), Electric Slide (2014), Parallels (2015), and The Feels (2017).
