A Latvian-American actress, who was born on October 13, 1942 in Riga, Latvia. Alda spent the first seven years of her life in a displaced persons camp in Germany amid World War II. She moved with her family to the United States, where she lives in Chicago before settling in Flagstaff, Arizona. She debuted in 1968, and acted in multiple films such as Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid (1973), The Deer Hunter (1978), and You Don't Know Jack (2010).
