An American composer and pianist, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. A founding member of the band The Lounge Lizards alongside his brother, John Lurie, Evan Lurie has left a distinctive mark on contemporary music. He appeared in Force of Circumstance and The Offenders. He also composed music for several works, including Final Portrait.
