An American actor, born in New York State, the United States of America. His father is the actor Richard McMurray, and his mother is the actress Jane Hoffman. Sam began his acting career by performing plays at the Windsor Theatre in New York, USA. His works include Raising Arizona (1987), Christmas Vacation (1989), and Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999).
