A Canadian writer, director and actor, born on April 25, 1958 in Kochi, Kerala, India, and raised in Canada. He was trained by acclaimed directors Norman Jewison and Daniel Petrie. He's a member of the Writers Guild of Canada, ACTRA and Canadian Actors Equity as well as a voting member of the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television. He has taught screenwriting and acting at the college level and has given seminars across Canada. He graduated summa cum laude with a BA from the University of Minnesota in Theater Arts. He received his first MFA in Film in Canada from York University in Toronto. His works include Ashgrove (2022), Easy Land (2019) and 22 Chaser (2018).
