An American actor, comedian, and composer, born in Syracuse, New York, USA. Roy Atwell married three wives; actress Blanche West in 1907, and they divorced, Dorothy Young (1913-1916), and they divorced, and actress Ethel Smith (1916-1936), and they divorced after having a child. His most notable works include Don't Get Personal (1922), The Harvester (1936), The Fleet's In (1942), and Where There's Life (1947). He joined the Fortune Gallo Opera Company. In 1957, he became a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. He composed many popular songs and played a major role in radio and cinema. His son, June Carol Atwell, was born in 1930. Roy Atwell died on February 6, 1962 in New York City, USA.
