An American actress, was born in Rock Island, Illinois, on June 10, 1926, as June Stovenour. June Haver received a Golden Apple Award in 1949, and a Star on the Walk of Fame in 1960. She is best known for starring in: The Dolly Sisters (1945), I'll Get By (1950), and Love Nest (1951). Haver appeared on stage at the age of six in a local theater production, and at the age of ten she took her first screen test, and joined the local radio to sing many songs. At the age of 16, she joined Fox as a supporting actress, and in the second half of the forties, June began to take her place in American cinema. Haver died on July 4, 2005 in Brent Wood, California, from respiratory failure.
