A Lebanese journalist, cinematographer, and director, born in 1973 in Beirut. He presented exceptional works that achieved success in various parts of the world. He has worked as an editor and cinematographer for the ARTE channel, and has covered various conflict areas in the world, such as Lebanon, Afghanistan, Haiti, and the Middle East, in addition to his work as assistant director in Aux frontières (2003) by director Danielle Arbid. Sharaf took his first solo step in 2004 by directing his first short narrative film Shake It, Goose. His other important works include The Hero Never Dies as well as Army of Ants (2007). In 2012, he won the Tanit de bronze Award at the Carthage Film Festival for All This and More, in which he investigates the culture and civilization of Lebanese society and its contemporary history through political events and pop music by following 3 characters: Hassan Nasrallah, Saad Hariri, and Haifa Wehbe.
