An Iraqi actor and director, he was able to make his way into the Iraqi drama and achieve a remarkable presence since the sixties of the last century. He started his career with the "Al-Zabania" band four decades ago in the play "Shaltag", which was talking about a Baghdadi singer in the Ottoman era. He is known for First Lesson (2012), and Our House and the Neighbors' Homes (1979).
