An American actor, born in New York. His family moved to Paris, France after World War II, and he decided at an early age to become an actor. After a few years in France, the family returned to the United States and joined the South Mountain Road artists' colony in Rockland County. He is known for Batman Forever (1995), The Ballad of Little Jo (1993), Chill Out, Scooby-Doo! (2007), and M*A*S*H (1970). He died at the age of 79 after a long struggle with lung cancer in Los Angeles, California, United States.
